SOUTHERN CROSS CARE (VIC) CARING FOR THE MOST IMPORTANT PEOPLE IN THE WORLD

The 2013 10^th Annual SCC (Vic)/ Aitken Partners Corporate Charity Golf Day was held at Yarra Yarra Golf Club on 4th March, while the 5th Annual SCC (Vic)/Commonwealth Bank Mother’s Day Brunch will be held at Leonda by the Yarra on Wednesday 8 May 2013.

We are fortunate that all our fundraising events are generously supported by our corporate partners, staff members and the families of residents and clients.

As a not for profit organisation, SCC (Vic) does not receive specific capital funding from Government for large redevelopments of residential aged care homes or for the purchase of equipment. We, like other aged care providers, are required to fund capital purchases from our operational funds. Consequently we rely on the generosity of friends, partners (sponsors) and the community to assist us support clients and residents to lead fulfilling lives.

We are grateful for the support of all corporate partners. Funds raised in 2013 from the events supported by our corporate partners are being directed to our Active Aging Program and to support our Imagine Fund.

PREMIER Partners:

Aitken Partners has continued its support of SCC (Vic) in 2013 our first Premier Partner and the Premier Partner for the 10^th Annual Southern Cross Care (Vic)/Aitken Partners Corporate Charity Golf Day held at Yarra Yarra Golf Club on 4 March 2013. This is the fourth year of support from Aitken Partners.

Aitken Partners is a premium level Melbourne-based law firm offering a range of legal services to business and private clients. Through the 10^th Annual Southern Cross Care (Vic)/Aitken Partners Corporate Charity Golf Day, Aitken Partners has supported SCC (Vic) in providing a wonderful annual event in support of our important work.

Commonwealth Bank has been a valued supporter of SCC (Vic) since 2006 and through its’ Women in Focus program has continued its support as a Premier Partner for the 5th Annual Southern Cross Care (Vic)/Commonwealth Bank Mother’s Day Brunch held at the magnificent Leonda by the Yarra.

The Commonwealth Bank’s Corporate Financial Services division provides services to corporate clients with a range of banking and financial services. By joining once again through the 5th Annual Southern Cross Care (Vic)/Commonwealth Bank Mother’s Day Brunch SCC (Vic), the Commonwealth Bank has shown support for the valued role SCC (Vic) plays in the aged care sector.

Inaugural Event Support Partner:

Southern Cross Care (Vic) is pleased to welcome the support of Total Construction again in 2013 after partnering with us for the first time in 2012. We are pleased to say that this year Total Construction is our Inaugural Event Support Partner 10^th Annual Southern Cross Care (Vic)/Aitken Partners Corporate Charity Golf Day held at Yarra Yarra Golf Club on 4 March 2013 and for the 5th Annual Southern Cross Care (Vic)/Commonwealth Bank Mother’s Day Brunch held at the magnificent Leonda by the Yarra.

Total Construction design and construct commercial and industrial projects in New South Wales, Queensland, Australian Capital Territory and Victoria. Total Construction understands the important role corporate partners can play supporting SCC (Vic)’s work with older Australians.

GOLD Partners:

As a Gold Partner SCA Hygiene (Tena) renews a corporate partnership with SCC (Vic) in 2013 and we welcome their involvement once again. SCA Hygiene (Tena) are the leading manufacturer of tissue and personal care hygiene products in the region, employing some 1300 people across Australia, New Zealand and Fiji.

The Outcomes Plus corporate partnership with SCC (Vic) commenced in 2009 and the relationship continues in 2013 with Outcomes Plus supporting us as a Gold Partner. Outcomes Plus is a consulting firm providing aged care and accommodation solutions for the not-for-profit sector. Its focus is on providing advice and development strategies that achieve change, meet organisational priorities and ensure long term sustainability.

SILVER Partners:

Southern Cross Care (Vic) is pleased to welcome ANZ again in 2013 as a Silver Partner.

ANZ has committed to supporting SCC (Vic) for the next 12 months, with a focus on supporting the 2013 10^th Annual Southern Cross Care (Vic)/Aitken Partners Corporate Charity Golf Day.

Advantage Salary Packaging view supporting SCC (Vic) as a natural fit for its business and have partnered with SCC (Vic) since 2007. Advantage Salary Packaging was established in March 2000 to provide a salary packaging administration service for FBT exempt employers. In 2010 Advantage celebrated 10 years of service to the sector.

CGU’s relationship with SCC (Vic) began in 2011 and continues in 2013 as a Silver Partner. CGU provide a comprehensive range of products that encompass commercial, rural, and personal and workers’ compensation insurance needs.

Frontier Software commenced its support for SCC (Vic) in 2011 and continues to do so in 2013 as a Silver Partner. Formed in Melbourne in 1983, Frontier Software provides integrated HR and payroll management software solutions.

SCC (Vic) welcomes the ongoing support Insight International Consultancy as a Silver Partner in 2013. Insight International Consultancy is a workforce development partner that focuses on supporting organisations to grow through training and skills development.

McArthur has supported SCC (Vic) for four years as a Silver Partner. For more than 40 years McArthur has provided multi-specialist recruitment services and works with SCC (Vic) to provide specialist recruitment services.

Southern Cross Care (Vic) again thanks Provider Assist as a Silver Partner. Provider Assist (formerly Aged Care Specialists) has a combined knowledge of 200 years in aged care funding maximisation.

Southern Cross Care (Vic) welcomes continuing support from PTA Architecture as a Silver Partner in 2013. PTA Architecture state they are passionate in their support for our work with older Australians and have committed to supporting SCC (Vic) for the next 12 months.

As a Silver Partner in 2013, Police Credit support the 2013 10^th Southern Cross Care (Vic)/Aitken Partners Corporate Charity Golf Day. Police Credit is a credit co-operative in Victoria, offering financial services to specific sectors of the community – emergency services, the health industry and government departments, as well as families and friends.

SCC (Vic) recognises smith+tracey architects as a 2013 Silver Partner for the second time. smith+tracey architects are supporting our work with older Australians and have committed to SCC (Vic) for another year. smith+tracey’s approach to residential aged care is to embrace the varying needs of elderly Australians in 2013.

Southern Cross Care (Vic) welcomes Thinc Projects in 2013 as another of our second year Silver Partners. Thinc Projects has worked closely with SCC (Vic) in the design of its new residential developments that will provide state-of-the-art accommodation and services to support older Australians.

SCC (Vic) recognises the CH Group as a 2013 Silver Partner for the first time. The CH Group is supporting our work with older Australians and have committed to SCC (Vic) for the next year.

Southern Cross Care (Vic) welcomes Milestone Chemicals in 2013 as another of our second year Silver Partners. Milestone Chemicals has worked closely with SCC (Vic) in finding ecological and economical cleaning solutions to our existing and new residential developments.

As a Silver Partner in 2013, Melbourne Refrigeration Services support the 2013 10^th Southern Cross Care (Vic)/Aitken Partners Corporate Charity Golf Day. Melbourne Refrigeration Services supports all of SCC (Vic)’s refrigeration needs and operates in the commercial fields of Refrigeration and Air Conditioning. They specialise in design, installation and service.
