Garry Nolan
Garry was appointed as Chairman following the retirement of Les Stahl in October 2012. Garry brings many relevant skills to SCC (Vic)'s Board, including strategy formulation and implementation, financial management and control, corporate governance, crisis management, team building and leading multi-disciplinary project teams. His humanitarian roles have included Board Director of MacKillop Family Services; Board member Australian Red Cross Victoria; Governance Committee member, Jesuit Social Services; President, Manningham Interfaith Network and Victorian Interfaith Networks Annual Conference convenor. Garry is also a Special Eucharistic Minister.

Joint Deputy Chairman and a Board Director since 2006. Greg is a lecturer in management accounting at Monash University. With more than 20 years senior management experience with large information and communication technology companies, he also contributes as Chairman of the Board’s Governance Improvement Committee.

John Bruce
Joint Deputy Chairman, John joined the Board in 2003, having had extensive experience in Local Government, including a term as Mayor of Manningham City Council. With a wealth of expertise in policy development and implementation, strategic planning and project management, he also chairs the Board’s new Profiling and Fundraising Committee, and serves on the Governance Improvement Committee.

Nicholas Bourke
Having joined the Board in 2005, Nicholas’ extensive experience in property assessment and development projects provides the Buildings Project Control Group with input and advice on the range of its development and redevelopments. Nick is also a member of the Board’s new Profiling and Fundraising Committee. He holds several other directorships, including AFL Victoria and Bourke Property (Vic), where he is Managing Director.
Joseph Cilia
A Certified Practicing Accountant, Joe joined the Board in 2000 and is a member of the Finance Committee and Buildings Project Control Group. He has more than 30 years experience in finance and administration in the service and manufacturing industries. Joe has also served on the Knights of the Southern Cross State Council and was State Treasurer from 1988 to 1991.
Jane Robertson Fyfield
A Board Director since 2002, Jane has extensive experience teaching and practicing gerontology in health and aged care organisations. She serves on the Board Governance Improvement Committee, Profile Championing and Fundraising Committee and oversees the Clinical Governance Portfolio.Joseph Mangelsdorf
A Board Director since 2000, Joseph brings significant finance and administration expertise to the Board having managed finance, investment and administration within the Catholic Archdiocese for 18 years. He chairs the Board’s Finance Committee and is a member of the Board Governanance Improvement Committee. Anne Moon
An accredited property law specialist with more than 25 years experience in commercial law, Anne joined the Board in 2008. As well as providing her advice within a legal portfolio and she chairs the Board’s Compliance, Audit and Risk Committee.
Jan Horsnell
As CEO and Company Secretary, Jan joined the Organisation in November 2007. She has considerable executive management and leadership experience in aged care, health and human service organisations having successfully served as a chief executive in a number of government/non government organisations. With a passion for social justice, Jan is committed to leading SCC (Vic) to provide services to enable older people maintain their desired independence and retain the dignity and respect they deserve.
